Coronavirus

As we are sure you are all aware there are many updates and guidelines being produced regarding Covid-19. Most recently, Archery GB have decided to postpone/cancel all archery events and tournaments for the foreseeable future (link: https://www.archerygb.org/all-grassroots-archery-should-be-postponed-for-the-forseeable-future/).

-Access to the Field————–

We have no option but to close the field until further notice.  Please bear with us during this difficult time. please follow this link for a set of FAQ from Archery GB which is likely to asnswer any questions you may have regarding this decision.

All other events to the end of June remain cancelled (see list / details below);

-Tournaments——-

  • Charity shoot (was 19th April) cancelled
  • WRS Double 720 (was 10th May) cancelled
  • Junior Open Shoot (was 27th June) cancelled
  • Canadian 1200 (was 28th June) cancelled
  • We will take a view on the WRS Double 1440 (early August) closer to the time

-Coach-led Activities———–

  • The Beginners course starting on the 28th March is cancelled
  • All planned have-a-go’s between now and the end of June are cancelled
  • We will take a view on “Geekfest” and the Redruth School Have-a-goes (early July) closer to the time

-Indoor shooting——————

  • Indoor shooting has also been cancelled for the remainder of the indoor seaso

-Other Activities——————-

  • Tony’s world record attempt is postponed (until further notice)
  • Our regular spring-summer-autumn club nights on Wednesday evenings are suspended until further notice
